Happy New Year

The holidays are always a busy time of year, but this year adding two well...are they considered toddlers now...really vamps it up!

Gavin and Riley did very well considering the amount of excitment that goes along with Christmas. Last year all they did was eat, sleep and poop, this year we are considering changing their middles names to "No".

Our tree went up on the 24th and came down on the 26th as there was a lot of "no's" being utter along with subsequent cries at hearing the word NO!!! Instead of fighting with them I just decided to remove temptation.

There is always a fine line about how much you remove and how much you leave and we like the boys to have boundaries, but the tree was something that doesn't reside in our house all year long. I DO have to contend with the TV, DVD player and fireplace everyday, so for our sanity we only had the tree for 2 and a half days. Not a waste though as it's a live tree that we purchased last year to grow with the boys.

Gavin is still furniture walking but is making many attempts to walk unassisted and will now fall on his bum instead of his face! Riley is learning to RUN and loves to dance. Any music will cause his arms to swing back and forth and his new thing is to slightly bounce at the knees!!!

I will leave with some pictures and some good news if you already haven't heard, my sister got a clean bill of health on Dec 4th!!!! She still has to go back to the doctor every few months for awhile, but for now....NO CANCER!!!

Happy New Year and absolute Best Wishes for 2008!
